A MAJOR hurdle blocking a new speedway stadium for Swindon has been cleared.
Government planning inspectors have announced that they will not call in plans for the new Abbey Stadium - meaning that the project can now move ahead.
The winning 50-50 ticket from Thursday's meeting against Coventry remains unclaimed. The ticket number drawn was 32657 and the lucky winner of £294 should contact commerical manager Paul Oughton immediately on 01305 755607.
