GOOD news from Mildura this morning, with Travis McGowan now at home after spending the night in an Adelaide hospital.
McGowan suffered a terrible looking fall in the 'B' Final of Wednesday's second round of the Australian Championship at Gillman.
Travis was unconscious for the best part of ten minutes. In addition to serious concussion, his troublesome shoulder also popped out of place and a small crack has been detected via x-ray.
Anyone who saw the crash would be very relieved to hear of the relatively minor injuries suffered by McGowan, one of the best-liked Australian riders of the current era.
