SWINDON Speedway is proud to announce their Full Team Partners for 2008, with two new companies in Redcare Logistics and A.C. Nurden Ltd joining Pebley Beach Hyundai, who are in their sixth season of supporting the club.
Redcare are a national company, whose head office is in Dartford. They specialise in European logistics dedicated to the motor-sports, entertainment, exhibition and manufacturing industries. Former rider Kevin Pitts, who is the Managing Director of Redcare, has been part of the Swindon Speedway scene for the last three years after a long break from the sport. He said: ‘We are very proud at Redcare to be supporting Swindon Speedway in its sixtieth season. As a company, we endeavour to support the club and the team as a whole to gain success in 2008.’
Located just on the outskirts Malmesbury, Wiltshire, A.C. Nurden Ltd has been trading since 1986 and has a flourishing plant and tool hire centre. Managing Director Andy Nurden is an accomplished all-round motorcyclist and the company sponsored two televised meetings at the Abbey Stadium in 2007. Mr. Nurden said of the announcement: ‘We are very pleased to be associated with such a high-profile sport’s team as the Swindon Robins and we are looking forward to a great year supporting the club.’
Pebley Beach are now in their sixth successive season as Team Partners of the Robins, although this year their involvement comes from the Hyundai brand instead of Suzuki. Pebley’s Managing Director Dominic Threlfall explained: ‘The Pebley Beach brand is now synonymous with Swindon Speedway and we would like Hyundai to benefit from the same great exposure that the Suzuki brand has received over the previous years.’
Robins’ co-promoter Terry Russell said: ‘I’m delighted that Pebley Beach are continuing to support the club again in 2008. It also shows how far the club has progressed to be able to announce a further two high-profile companies in Redcare Logistics and A.C. Nurden alongside them. I am sure that all of our sponsors are in for another exciting season of action at Swindon Speedway in 2008.’
