SWINDON manager Alun Rossiter is not worried about being cast in the role of underdogs this season.
The Robins were widely tipped to sweep the board in terms of honours last year, but had to be content with second place in every major competition as they were upstaged by Coventry.
Rossiter has made five changes to his team over the winter, with major surgery required under the 38.85 limit, but the bookies do not currently share his optimism.
Rossiter, however, insists his the Robins can still make a strong challenge for the Play-Offs.
He said: 'Without a shadow of a doubt, there will be less pressure this year than there was last year. Everybody is writing us off, which is great news. But we believe it is different.
'Of course, people will say 'well you would say that,' but we honestly believe that we will surprise a lot of people. We will be in the Play-Offs this year.
'It is going to be a couple of months before we settle. The aim is to keep our home record, which I believe we will, but once we settle down and get organised, I think we'll be all right.'
