SWINDON Speedway pride themselves in offering one of the best VIP packages in sport, where both the ardent fan and the complete newcomer can enjoy a superb evening of fast and furious entertainment, alongside exclusive pre-meeting pit-walks, and a table in the newly refurbished Legends’ Lounge.
Bookings for these packages have increased year-on-year and already a large number of companies have booked team nights out and meeting sponsorships for the 2008 season.
As part of a VIP package their guests are taken from the VIP entrance to the pits, where they can meet and have their pictures taken with the riders and see for themselves the hustle and bustle of Sky Sports Elite League speedway through the eyes of the riders and their mechanics, before walking the race-track itself.
From here, the guests are guided to the Legends’ Lounge where they will be shown to their reserved table overlooking the first bend of the famous Abbey Stadium circuit and receive their complimentary race-day programme.
The Legends' Lounge was formed in 2006 and saw the induction of Robins' legends such as Barry Briggs, Martin Ashby, Mike Broadbank, Bob Kilby and Ian Williams to name just a few.
Many of these legends are present within the lounge on race-nights and are only too happy to talk to fans young and old about their speedway escapades.
Whilst in the Legends' Lounge, the Robins VIPs can enjoy a sumptuous hot buffet whilst enjoying the racing from their exclusive vantage point.
Other packages like Meeting and Rider of the Night sponsorships include watching three races from the centre green, where the speed and thrill of speedway will take your breath away.
