REGRETTABLY, the Elite League Pairs Championship was postponed shortly after 7.30 p.m., due to a saturated track at King's Lynn's Norfolk Arena.
The cancellation occurred without a wheel being turned in anger, although the riders had been prepared to give it a go, following talks with the referee, Dave Dowling.
However, having made that decision, it then began raining again and there was little option but to call the meeting off.
