General Robins news WITH last Monday night’s meeting at Belle Vue being Swindon’s third away match of the season, the Robins have been issued with their first set of new green sheet averages for the season.

The averages are issued after each team/rider has ridden 3 home and 3 away fixtures.

PLEASE NOTE: These interim figures are only applicable to riding order, guest bookings, facilities etc. and not for team-building. New team-building averages will be issued after a rider has ridden 12 meetings (6 home and 6 away).

NEW AVERAGES
Leigh Adams 10.67 [72 points, 27 rides]
Troy Batchelor 7.11 [48 points, 27 rides]
James Wright 5.08 [33 points, 26 rides]
Travis McGowan 4.62 [30 points, 26 rides]
Seb Alden 3.84 [24 points, 25 rides]

The above figures will become effective from Monday 28 April 2008.

Mads Korneliussen (5.18) and Theo Pijper (3.70) remain on their 2007 figures.

Prior to the issue of these figures, Korneliussen had only ridden 2 home and 3 away meetings for Swindon this season, whereas Pijper has yet to appear in a league fixture.

However, Korneliussen rode in the Robins’ home meeting against Wolverhampton on Thursday 24 April, so he has now completed his third home match.

Therefore, his new 3 home and 3 away interim average will become effective from Thursday 1 May.
