Leigh Adams
‘Although we came good towards the end of the meeting it is ultimately disappointing to be defeated by just three points overall.
All the damage was done on Wednesday night at Poole and if we had managed to keep the scores closer then there is no doubt that we would have progressed through tonight.
Obviously it was always going to be hard without Troy there is no doubt his absence from the side will pose problems in the next few meetings. It was great to see James going so well, I’m really pleased for him and I hope it continues.’
James Wright
I’m totally shattered and in my seventh ride tonight I was struggling to hold on to the bike just because of fatigue. My starting improved tonight which was pleasing and when I didn’t make the gate I made sure I battled for every single point that was on offer.
In one race I had to borrow Leigh Adams bike just because mine was spluttering at the starts. His bike was extremely quick and a real pleasure to ride, I must thank him for all the support he has provided me with during my time at the club.
Travis McGowan
Things are getting better for me and I’m happier with my performance this evening. I had a mishap in one race just because of a misunderstanding between myself and Mads Korneliussen on the first corner. Congratulations to James who had a brilliant night. I’m hopeful that I’ve turned the corner and I can now begin to contribute some higher points scores.
Mads Korneliussen
It would have been nice to be the hero in heat fifteen and grab a 5-1 but it just wasn’t meant to be which is a little disappointing. All my races except the last one went pretty well and I felt good on the bike tonight. Travis and I haven’t really sorted out our team riding technique. It was easier when I rode with Troy Batchelor because we both just went as quick as we could!
