Troy news Swindon's Troy Batchelor and Jurica Pavlic line up in what promises to be a superb World U21 final at Pardubice on Saturday.

EMIL Sajfutdinov defends his title in a strong line-up of rising stars.

The Russian sprang to prominence with his victory in Ostrow last year, and followed that up with an exciting showing in the first round of the World Cup in 2008.

And at the age of just 18, he clearly has many years ahead of him to make a major impact in the sport.

Last year, Sajfutdinov beat Australian star Chris Holder into second place, and the duo are expected to be amongst the front-runners again this time around. Holder's Australian colleague and rival Troy Batchelor must also have a chance of top honours.

Other interesting contenders include Jurica Pavlic, who finished fourth last year, and Ludvig Lindgren - the younger brother of GP star Freddie.
Home hopes are carried by Filip Sitera, who recently moved into the British Elite League with Coventry, and Matej Kus - who won the domestic Under-21 title at a stage of the season when Sitera was injured.

There are three British riders in the event, and all eyes are likely to be on Tai Woffinden after another outstanding season of progress. Lewis Bridger and William Lawson will also be looking to make an impact.

The meeting is being staged at Pardubice for the first time since 1993 when it was won by British star Joe Screen ahead of Mikael Karlsson (now Max) and Rune Holta. All three remain active in racing today.
