Theo Pijper was born in Dokkum, Holland on 11 February 1980.The Dutchman, who is a gifted exponent on both the long-track and grass-track scene, first rode a bike in 1985, when he tentatively used a 50cc moto-cross machine.Pijper made four successive appearances in the World Long-track Final (1998-2001), prior to making his speedway debut on these shores with Edinburgh in 2002. |

He has family links with speedway, as his elder brother, Tim, was a former Danish Under-21 Champion and also had spells in British racing with Hackney (1990), Peterborough (1991) and Glasgow (1992). |

Sebastian Carl Alden was born in Vasteras, Sweden on 7 November 1985.The youngster first rode at 80cc level with Masarna at the age of eleven, before moving on to the full size steeds in 2002. Two years later, as a teenager, he represented Masarna in the Swedish Elite League, when his team-mates including the likes of Leigh Adams, Tony Rickardsson, Bjarne Pedersen, Magnus Karlsson and Fredrik Lindgren. |
