ALAN Tarrant, one of the track staff at Swindon, was taken ill recently and we have just heard that he is suffering from the early stages of Multiple Sclerosis.
Alan is presently undergoing tests in hospital, but hopes to be allowed home soon.
A very popular member of the staff at the Abbey, Alan and his mate, Dave Whiting, have been responsible for painting the pits area, the white line and for raking on the first and second bends.
Everyone at Swindon Speedway sends their best wishes to Alan and his family and look forward to seeing him again as soon as he feels able.
