ROBINS’ boss Alun Rossiter is delighted to report that Australian ace Travis McGowan satisfactorily came through Thursday afternoon’s Season Launch at the Abbey Stadium.
Rosco said: “Travis is very positive and was pleased to say that he didn’t feel a thing in his shoulder, which is great news.
“Obviously, he is race rusty, though, and needs to get his head back into gear for the season ahead.
“I’m so pleased that he came through the day without any problem and it’s just a case of him getting race fit now.
“We have the Craven Shield and the Elite Shield matches coming up before the Elite League programme begins, so this will help Travis to get right back into the groove.”
