THERE will be great interval entertainment at Swindon Speedway on Thursday night, when the Robins entertain the Eastbourne Hagon Shock Eagles in what should be a lively affair.
Following on from GWR disc jockey Howard Taylor’s impressive quad skills at a recent Swindon Wildcats home game, he now turns his attention to the shale surface of the Abbey Stadium to raise funds for GWR kids. Not intent for Howard to gain the glory, Robins’ team manager Alun Rossiter has thrown down the gauntlet and challenged Howard to a time trial to see who manages the fastest four laps.
The rivalry between these two goes back a long way, so you can be assured that neither will want to lose and be awarded the wooden spoon.
Supporters can get involved by guessing the time of the four laps by Howard and Rosco for a small fee of £1, all of which will be going to the GWR Kids Charity. The people who guess the closest time for Howard and Rosco win VIP tickets for four to a future home meeting. To get involved, please see the Black Thunder crews inside the Abbey Stadium on Thursday evening and place your prediction.
