SWINDON have lifted the first piece of Elite League silverware after beating Coventry in the Elite Shield.
The Bees won their home leg 52-41, but Swindon were comfortable winners on aggregate, 98-87.
Robins' boss Alun Rossiter said: “For a team which is unfancied this season we haven’t made a bad start. To beat a team like Coventry is great for us and we’re in an upbeat mood right now.”
