Swindon collected a deserved win in a night of nail biting racing at Wolverhampton.
The Robins trailed for the majority of the match but successive race advantages in the concluding two races proved enough for their third away victory of the season and three Elite League points.

The Swindon charge was fronted by a characteristically professional performance from Leigh Adams who dropped just one point throughout the night. The dependable skipper also romped to a new Monmore Green track record in race five.
Troy Batchelor was also in fine form and the popular Aussie displayed plenty of speed and determination on route to an eye catching paid twelve points.
However, the real star of the show was James Wright who rolled up his sleeves and really attacked the intricate Monmore Green circuit and was rewarded with a scintillating eleven points.
The British youngster really excelled in the number seven berth and battled hard throughout as he sniffed out some of Monmore Green’s more unique racing lines.
Elsewhere a paid four points haul from Travis McGowan wasn’t perhaps a fair reflection of the Australian’s much improved performance. The Swindon number four was really in the thick of the action and showcased bundles of tenacity as he plugged away throughout the course of the night.
The Wolverhampton score chart was headed by guest rider Edward Kennet but support was thin on the ground for the British rider who was the only home riders to register a double points haul.
Swindon contributed eight heat winners and never trailed by more than four points in a meeting that was full of top quality racing. The grippy surface earlier on meant track condition were a touch tricky in the opening heats but as the meeting progressed a slicker racing line developed.

The race was stopped and awarded by the referee on the third lap after a fall from Freddie Lindgren caused Edward Kennet to take evasive action.
The subsequent 5-1 made sure of the Swindon victory and elevated the Robins back to top spot in the Sky Sports Elite league.
