'Tonight was absolutely brilliant, everyone is elated with the result. That's twice we have successfully repelled Eastbourne's challenge at the Abbey this year but in my opinion tonight was the better of the two performances.
Manuel was outstanding, it's pretty much the perfect home debut. There is no better way to impress the Blunsdon fans and they were certainly buoyed by the array of potential he displayed.
People have said to me that Manuel won't be as effective on smaller tracks. However, you can only ride what is in front of you and tonight he has made the perfect start to his Swindon career.
He was extremely nervous before the start of the meeting, but, he performed when it mattered and i'm glad the preparation he has put in has paid hansom rewards.
To re-gain top spot in the league is superb and to be honest I don't think we've ever looked stronger.
