Students from the Hair and Beauty department at Swindon College have offered to give Robins’ rider Mads Komeliusen a selection of hair and beauty treatments.
The news comes after Swindon team manager Alun Rossiter suggested the popular Danish rider is being overlooked for major International competition because of his rugged off track appearance.
Students at the North Star Campus will give Korneliussen a free hair cut and treat the Dane to an array of beauty treatments.
Karen Barber, Programme Area Manager at Swindon College said:
"We will be delighted to help out Mads and the students are looking forward to him coming into the college. The students and the college hope that the makeover will assist his quest for International recognition”
The grooming session will take place on Thursday afternoon at Swindon College; later that evening Korneliussen takes to track as Swindon host Poole in the Knockout Cup Quarter final at Blunsdon.
Anyone wanting to attend Korneliussen's grooming seesions should contact Swindon Commercial manager Paul Oughton on 07917117007 or alternatively Chris Seaward.
