Peterborough Swindon’s action packed summer of speed continues on Thursday 31st July when Peterborough travel to Blunsdon for more Sky Sports Elite league Speedway.
The Robins are expected to welcome back Manuel Hauzinger from injury whilst Krzysztof Stojanowski once again deputises at reserve as Jurica Pavlic’s Swindon debut continues to be delayed by work permit formalities.

After riding so superbly in Thursday’s victory over Ipswich Troy Batchelor slot backs into the number five berth as Travis McGowan shuffles to four.

Peterborough will use a guest replacement for Hans Andersen who is withholding his services after a dispute over unpaid wages.

Elsewhere, the Panthers will use a further guest to fill their number seven spot.

Swindon was victorious by a thirteen point margin when Peterborough last visited Blunsdon back in June.

Swindon manager Alun Rossiter is hoping for another professional performance from his side.

‘The performance last Thursday against Ipswich was very pleasing and it was great to see Troy Batchelor look like his old self again.

It would have been good to include Jurica Pavlic for Thursday’s meeting, but unfortunately his work permit application is still awaiting approval.

We will therefore draft in Krzysztof Stojanowski again who has performed excellently so far this season when called upon. Troy Batchelor has now regained his confidence and will slot back into the number five berth from where he has done so well this season.

Mads Korneliussen has been struggling with machinery in the last fortnight and plans to bring his Danish mechanics over to rectify these problems.

I’ll be looking for another solid performance from the team as we continue to aim for a top two spot’.
