AS REVEALED at a packed end-of-season Dinner and Dance at the Premier Club in Stratton, Robins’ skipper Leigh Adams has scooped the annual Rider of the Year Award, sponsored by the Swindon Advertiser.
The Sultan of Slide already held the record for winning the award on the most number of occasions and this is now the seventh time he has polled the highest number of votes, following on from his previous successes in 1991, 1992, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
