As always, the Dinner & Dance provided riders, management and supporters with a perfect opportunity to reflect on the 2008 campaign.
Leigh Adams, James Wright, Mads Korneliussen, Travis McGowan, Troy Batchelor, Seb Alden, Cory Gathercole and Richard Sweetman were all in attendance. Meanwhile Jurica Pavlic, who was unable to travel, sent an audio message which was played during the course of the evening.
Leigh Adams scooped the Swindon Advertiser Rider Of the Season Award for the seventh time in his illustrious Swindon career and the Australian was thrilled to collect the trophy for a breathtaking fifth successive season.
Fellow Aussie Troy Batchelor collected the Rattrap Award for the most improved rider of the year whilst James Wright was presented with the Pit Crew Bonus King Award for his unrivalled haul of bonus points.
Dedicated track man Bob Crowther was awarded the unsung hero award for his sterling behind the scenes track work.
