	PLEASE note Swindon's Elite league 'b' clash away at Peterborough, originally scheduled for late August, has now moved to Monday 1st September. Later that week, on Thursday 4th September, Swindon entertain Wolverhampton in the re-staging of the meeting that was rained off on June 26th.

. WEDDING BELLS AT BLUNSDON!

Kirsty Stiles, a member of the Swindon Speedway Hospitality Care Team, got a big shock after the Robins victory at the Abbey Stadium on Thursday night.

Her boyfriend, Allan Minns, proposed to her on the centre green using the PA so everbody in attendance could hear. Happily a big cheer went up as Kirsty said 'yes.'

Swindon skipper Leigh Adams was on hand to congratulate the happy couple.

. GIANTS 18 - SPROCKETS 18!

	THE SPROCKETS were in competitive action on Friday when they travelled to the West Country for a meeting against the Somerset Giants. A closely contested meeting at the Oak Tree Arena ended in an 18-18 draw.

	CORY GATHERCOLE, who is currently sidelined with a nasty thumb injury, has launched a new look website. A full update on Cory's recovery from injury can be found at www.corygathercole.com

. ASHBY vs ADAMS

LEIGH ADAMS now totals 5424.5 points from 463 appearances in all competitions for the Robins, leaving him just 52 points behind current all-time points scorer Martin Ashby.

. NEXT AT THE ABBEY

	SWINDON next take to track on Thursday 31st July when they entertain Peterborough at the Abbey Stadium in an Elite League 'b' clash. It is hoped that Jurica Pavlic's work permit formalities will be completed and the Croatian youngster will therefore slot into the reserve department for the meeting against the Panthers.
