Swindon’s action packed summer of speed continues on Thursday 31st July when Peterborough travel to Blunsdon for more Sky Sports Elite league Speedway.
Kirsty Stiles, a member of the Swindon Speedway Hospitality Care Team, got a big shock after the Robins victory at the Abbey Stadium on Thursday night.
Her boyfriend, Allan Minns, proposed to her on the centre green using the PA so everbody in attendance could hear. Happily a big cheer went up as Kirsty said 'yes.'
Swindon skipper Leigh Adams was on hand to congratulate the happy couple.
LEIGH ADAMS now totals 5424.5 points from 463 appearances in all competitions for the Robins, leaving him just 52 points behind current all-time points scorer Martin Ashby.

SWINDON next take to track on Thursday 31st July when they entertain Peterborough at the Abbey Stadium in an Elite League 'b' clash.
It is hoped that Jurica Pavlic's work permit formalities will be completed and the Croatian youngster will therefore slot into the reserve department for the meeting against the Panthers.
