SWINDON promoter Alun Rossiter is calling for a rule change ahead of the start of the Elite League this weekend.
Rossiter feels the aggregate bonus point should be re-instated to maintain interest in meetings where one team establishes a big early lead.
He said: "Sometimes you have to hold your hands up, and I feel we got it wrong. I would like to see the aggregate point back before the league starts."
LEIGH ADAMS stormed to his second successive paid maximum at the Abbey, as the Robins romped to an unexpected 22-point success over Coventry in the first leg of the Elite Shield.
NEW signing Troy Batchelor will be well and truly fired-up for next week's clashes against Poole. The Aussie, of course, spent last season with the South Coast side, and his rivalry with Chris Holder is, to put it mildly, very intense.
REGRETTABLY prolific author Jeff Scott will not now be at the Abbey Stadium on Sunday 23 March for the eagerly-awaited Elite Shield encounter between the Robins and Coventry Bees.
Unfortunately, he has been under the weather for a few days and sends apologies for any inconvenience caused.
A reminder of the team line-ups ahead of the match, with the action set to get underway at the earlier start time of 6.00 p.m.
THE Robins’ heavy schedule continues unabated after the Elite Shield matches against Coventry, with the Wiltshire side due to face home and away fixtures in the Craven Shield versus Poole next week.
SWINDON travel to Coventry on Monday (24 March) in the second leg of the Elite Shield, hoping to get their hands on the first piece of silverware of the new campaign.
If you cannot make it to Brandon on Bank Holiday Monday night, then you can keep up to date with all of the action on BBC Radio Swindon.
