Manuel SEB Alden has been taken to Swindon's Great Western hospital to have an ankle injury examined. The Swedish youngster fell heavily on bend three of lap one in heat seven against Belle Vue on Thursday night.

Meanwhile, Manuel Hauzinger has sustained heavy bruising around his knee after his alarming first bend spill in the initial staging of race seven.

Both riders are not expected to be fit to race at Coventry on Friday (11th July) and with club no.8 Cory Gathercole also on the sidelines Swindon are seeking guest replacements to fill the reserve berths for the meeting against the Bees.
