Hello and welcome to the Robins marketing section.
My name is Paul Oughton and I look after Media Relations, Sponsorship and Marketing for the Swindon Robins.
2009 is shaping up to be a huge year for the Robins as we look to push that little bit further for the Elite Trophy. We came so close in 07 and then again in 08 but we can take heart in the knowledge that as each season passes we are getting closer to getting our hands on that silverware. The Club has seen unprecedented growth during the 2007 campaign and even Club owner Terry Russell has compared us to the 'Manchester Utd of speedway'! Not too sure about that yet but we have had record numbers in terms of crowds and media interest in the club.
Speedway has grown so much both locally and on a world stage boosted by the involvement of Sky Sports, televising our beloved sport to an audience of millions each week and of course the enormously popular Grand Prix series in which Swindon asset and Club Captain, Leigh Adams competes.
Sponsoring any aspect of Swindon Speedway is both a unique and rewarding way of promoting your company to a large local audience and at the same time giving you an unprecedented 'behind the scenes' involvement with the Club.
You can participate as little or as much as you wish in terms of finance but you can be sure that your help will always be very welcome.
I have many sponsorship packages available to suit all budgets and requirements and I can even tailor make a package to suit your needs.
Getting involved with Swindon Speedway doesn't cost as much as you would perhaps think but the enjoyment you will receive knowing that you have contributed to both the future of the Club and to the history of the Club is priceless!
